How a Stylist Can Help from the Comfort of your own home

What if you actually loved everything in your wardrobe and walked out every morning with complete confidence? No to.. clothes that don’t fit.. No to.. “I have nothing to wear.”

Just a wardrobe full of clothes that you loved and make you feel amazing in your own skin.

Hey lovely mumma, I see you!

After having kids myself, I realised that looking my best did not take priority. I realised that being a mum with such a hectic life I had other things to focus on. Everyone took priority before myself.

I get it.. You would rather spend time with your family than at the shops wondering around looking for something to buy.. or scrolling online with hundreds and thousands of items and not knowing where to even start looking. It can be so overwhelming.

There is a way to create a simple and awesome wardrobe that you love and you can have a whole lot of fun doing it!

It’s my mission to make it super simple and fun for you!

Just consider me your wardrobe bestie 🙂

Now is the perfect time (whilst you are staying home) to get your wardrobe sorted and I would love to share my top five things to do to get you started on your journey to loving your wardrobe again!

Step One

Pull everything out.

That’s right let’s get it all out and get your wardrobe clean. It’s probably been awhile since you’ve seen the bottom of your wardrobe so get let’s take the opportunity to clean it.

Step Two

Break it down.

Sort your clothes into piles on your bed, i.e all the short sleeve tops, knitwear, pants, dresses into different piles.

Step Three

Let it go.

Bin anything that has had its day and needs replacing i.e. holes or stains on the armpits.. yew!

Step Four

Check Sizing

Make sure everything fits, your wardrobe should only be full of clothes that fit you. If you have things that don’t fit but you can’t let it go then move into a storage bag or another wardrobe if you have the space.

Step Five

Look for a Buddy

Everything in your wardrobe needs to have a matching item (something you can wear it with). If it doesn’t have a buddy you wont be able to wear it. You’ll need to buy something to go with it or give it away.

Step Six

Sort it

Now you have everything left, hang it back into your wardrobe and sort your wardrobe into tops, bottoms and dresses. Ten more points if you can sort it into colours!!

Newborn Photography Workshops Australia – Melbourne

Cute little Mohamad was our second model of the day at my Newborn Photography Workshops held in Melbourne.  With his dark hair and handsome face, Mohamad is totally adorable.  He was a perfect little model for us.  Without a doubt, his favourite pose of the day was all curled up on the blue fabric backdrop in what we call the ‘womb’ pose – he was so happy and content and would have slept like that for hours! I was also lucky enough to catch a little smile from Mohamad – such a sweetheart.  Thank you so much to Mohamad and his mother for making the journey to the studio for the workshop – it was my absolute pleasure to take newborn photographs for you. Now you will always remember just how small he was once!  I hope you enjoy browsing these photos of cute baby Mohamad!

Newborn Photography Workshops Australia – Melbourne

Gorgeous baby Harriet was our last little model of the day at the Melbourne Newborn Photography Workshops.  After starting her session awake, she settled to sleep and was the perfect model. I am so glad that we were able to use some girly colours and a few different set-ups with Harriet – her favourite pose was the last one, all wrapped up and snuggled. Harriet has the most gorgeous skin, perfect little features and chubby cheeks – it is impossible to decide which image is my favourite – I love them all!  I am so thankful to her mum and dad for bringing Harriet along on the day and sharing her with us. I have the best job in the world, getting to meet and cuddle with all of these gorgeous newborn babies. I hope you enjoy browsing these photos of pretty baby Harriet.
