Behind-the-scenes from Rebecca Connolly’s small group Sydney newborn photography workshop class on 19 July 2015. The Class worked through each stage of the newborn photography shoot, including set-up, soothing, posing transitions, prop selection, styling and post-processing.

I LOVE to teach – I really do! It is a passion of mine.  I share all of my knowledge, skills, tips and tricks to help my attendees take their newborn photography business to the next level. I open up my studio, my business and my heart to my students.

Studio lighting was most certainly thoroughly covered, including fill light and reflectors which were my major concerns. I also didn’t expect to learn as much about the marketing/pricing side, which in my side of the photography industry there is little information, let alone discussion between photographers. This certainly gave me confidence in my pricing structures and the market I aim towards.
