Newborn babies are my favourite subjects to photograph. As a mother of four children, I know that children seem to grow overnight, and they are only this little for a very short period of time. Their tiny little hands and squishy feet, their innocent face and baby hair – you will want to remember this moment forever.
Newborn photography sessions are the perfect way to celebrate this milestone for your family. I feel privileged to capture the beginning of your child’s life journey. As a specialist newborn photographer, with over 10 years of experience, I will provide you with beautiful newborn photos that you will cherish forever.

I am one of the most experienced newborn photographers in Australia. I have been invited to speak at newborn photography conferences in Australia and around the world.
Since 2015, I have also dedicated myself to training other newborn photographers to ensure safety and professional consistency across the newborn photography industry. I am the Founder of the Sydney Newborn Photographers Network – which provides support and education to newborn photographers across Sydney. I have been voted as a Finalist in the 2019 Local Business Awards.

When is the best time to conduct a newborn photography session?
Newborn photography is best scheduled for when your baby is between 5-15 days new. This is the time when they are most sleepy and will curl easily. They are also super sleepy in these first two weeks of life. However, we can still take ‘newborn’ photos of your baby up to 6 weeks of age, we simply adjust the poses a little bit to ensure your baby is comfortable.
When should we book-in for our newborn photography session?
It is best to book in when you are in your second or third trimester. I only take a limited number of bookings per month. I know that babies rarely show up on time so the confirmed date of your Newborn Session is always done after your baby is here.
Where are you located?
My photo studio is located in Castle Cove (just east of Chatswood on Sydney's North Shore) – it is fully set up for both the photo session and also for your comfort – with a newborn changing table and baby feeding area and bathroom and kitchenette facilities. There is plenty of free and unlimited parking right at the front of my studio. There is also a playground right next door to my photography studio, which is great for entertaining siblings!
Do I need to bring along items for my baby?
I provide all of the outfits, props, hats, headbands and wraps for your baby’s newborn photography session. I source my newborn props from all over the world, and each item is specifically design for newborn photography (to ensure it is the correct size and soft and comfortable for your baby). However, if you have any particular item that is special to you (such as a family heirloom), I am happy for you to bring these along and we can incorporate these into the photos.
Do we get to select the colours and styling for our newborn photography session?
Yes! Each newborn session is styled to match YOUR taste - we will discuss your preferences for colours, props and poses so that you absolutely love the images from your newborn session.
Do you take family photos during the newborn photography shoot?
Absolutely! Photos with mum, dad, and siblings are SUPER important. All of my newborn photography sessions include taking the full range of family photos.
What do we wear for our newborn photography shoot?
For the photographs of Mum, Dad and siblings, your clothing should complement each other in colour tones. I recommend short sleeves, so that we can see your arms holding your newborn baby and then baby will not look like they are floating. I provide lots of information and assistance to you on wardrobe choice in the lead up to your session date.
Do you offer digital files?
Yes! All of my Photography Packages include digital files. You are able to select which Package (and the corresponding number of digital files) that best suits your budget.
